Tunnel jons have a 5" tunnel and a 5" taller transom.  These boat allow the use of prop engines to run on plane through shallower water.  They work great for this but be aware that your draft at low speed will actually be a little more and speed is reduced slightly.  If you want the convenience of a prop engine to run thru water as shallow as 12", then this boat is for you.  Tunnels are available in the following hulls: 1652 thru 2472 MV jons and the 1872 thru 2472 Pro Center Console jons.
